Thread: Books

Do you read? I sure as hell do.

Recently I finished Game Of Thrones (and no, I didn't start reading it because of the books), and I'm finshing the 4th book of Wheel Of Time, so as you see, I am a fantasy type.

I used to read, right now, I am reading Ana Karenina.

So boring. My eyes were bleeding while I read it.

Mine too. I don't understand why is the writer describing how he was cutting the grass. ( Her husband ) I mean, 20 pages he is cutting grass.

I don't read much. My favorite books were Night, I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, The Private Series, and The LA Candy Series.

I never heard about any of those.

You mean "a song of ice and fire" right? Because game of thrones if the name of the first book.
Anyways I also read fantasy books. I'm currently reading The Hobbit after seeing the trailer lol. So far its not that good...I'll finish it and wait for the movie to come out.

Yes, yes. The first book is GoT. I just got the second one.
I read Hobbit and LotR, and I have Children Of Hurin and Silmarilion on my schedule from Tolkien. I want to read all his books.

I like the True Blood TV show which was based off the Sookie Stackhouse mysteries. I have not read the books yet but if they are anywhere as good as the TV show, i would really love to read.

Usually books are way better than the actual show.
