Thread: Worst thing about Farmville?

What's the worst thing about Farmville?

For me, it was being the friend of someone who plays Farmville a lot and getting all those stupid requests show up in my stream that i didn't wanna know about. Or, having, "Cindy just harvested a row of corn!" announcements. I don't want friends who play Farmville. Cause they are on there all the time and i get updates i don't want.

Haha. I'm with you there. But recently, I only get like 2 or 3 each day... You can always mark those type of stories so that they'll be hidden on your feed.

the notifications. they're just crazy.

Certainly. But you can block those apps from posting on your wall or feed.

I definitely agree with you guys - when my friends were addicted to Farmville, that was all I would see on my wall - notifications about Farmville, invites to Farmville... "someone just sent you a gift"... etc.

I also found Farmville a bit repetitive... even with what they described as 'surprises' and 'events' it still got a bit boring after a while. I don't play anymore.

The worst thing about Farmville is having to depend on others to finish projects. I hate when I have to post to my Wall to beg for an item I need to finish my barn or other project. If it weren't for that, Farmville would be an awesome game.

With the exception of Mafia Wars, I find most of Zynga's Facebook games boring and repetitive. Farmville wins my Most Boring Zynga Game Of All Time Award, but its cousin Cityville is almost as bad.

But, isn't this feature of Farmville supposed to create a cooperative spirit (like neighbors) within the game, where everyone is helping each other out? That's almost like MMO.
