Thread: Will this game ever come out?

To me it feels like Diablo III will never come out. Whenever my friends and I talk about Starcraft 2 (before the release), and even Cataclysm we think those are attainable goals by Blizzard and that these games will come out in no time.

However, when the discussion moves to Diablo III we have a completely different viewpoint we jokes and say this game is never going to come out. Why do we say this and not for games like Starcraft II and Cataclysm. First, we have heard Blizzard hype this game up so much that it has just become a wild fantasy to us no longer attainable. Second, it will take a big bite out of the WoW market.

Does anyone agree with my friends and myself? Or do you actually think this game is going to come out in the near future and not in like 2020?

How long has it been under development? Remember, SCII was 10 years in the making. lol. Blizzard is slow.

Blizzard actually isn't slow. What they're trying to do is bring out a game that will fully be loved by everyone that plays it. That's the only reason its being made slow, they're trying to fix every single detail to make it a perfect game. From my estimations Diablo III could be out in 5 years if not then we're looking for around 10-15 years. It might even come out early if all they're trying to do is improve graphics from Diablo II.

I am pretty sure blizzard will release diablo iii but certainly not in the near future. They might be a little to early for the announcement of the release, it is almost the same about Starcraft II. I think they should not announce that they will release a game except when they have finished 80% of the game. I am sure that diablo III will be an outstanding game like its predecessor. All of blizzard games is great. I hope they include a scenario editor on the Diablo III, since it is the only one thing missing on the Diablo II.

A little waiting never hurt anyone, I rather them take their time and succeed instead of rush and fail.

This game is going to be epic.

I can't wait to actually play Diablo 3 I wish it would come out, but I can wait since I don't want any screw ups.

When is it suppose to be, or predicted to be released?

Seems like the prediction right now is sometime 2011, so if they stick to that it won't be long now. Of course they may push the date back as well.

Well all we need to do is to wait since we all know that the developer development is too slow. hence hoping that this might the best among all they release. lol
