Street fighter games

Which do you prefer? The older 2D games or the new cell shaded 3D versions. I think the 2D games are just a little better because the series started off 2D and stayed that way for a while so I kind of gotten used to that look. I tend to fight better on the 2D street fighter games over the newer 3D ones for some reason.

Cell shaded 3D games. Of course I played alot of 2D, but nowadays 3D is much better looking. Of course I don't have anything against 2D.

I would like to say the 2d were the most memorable and classic, but the SF4 games were pretty good. I expected to be disappointed with them but was blown away at how much work they did put in to keep it as good as SF2. In any case, SF3 wasn't that memorable to me and it was 2d.

I really like the 3d versions but I have to side with 2d and the Street Fighter Alpha series. Alpha 3 to be exact, I would be completely blown away if karen were in 3d but either way I like the 2d game better.
