I think I have heard Gothic once. And if I'm not mistaken, this is the first place where I read about it. But never got a chance to play it though.

You should try it. Great RPG with great story.

I think it is not so bad as you make it up to be. But, that's my opinion.

I'll try it out, once I get a better PC specifications.

Gothic 3 is doesn't require some massive configuration I think.

Recently I've become nostalgic for the old point-and-click adventure titles. I'd really like to see a redo of Maniac Mansion, or maybe Sam and Max. These games were classic, but I'd like to see some new episodes.

The NFS series. The games lately are insane on graphics quotient, but next to garbage on gameplay. I think they should really work on the driving dynamics and stop making games in which driving is so easy that you can easily drive without even knowing where the brake button is.

For Gothic 1 and 2 you need 64 MB of RAM man cmon For Gothic 3 you need 512.

Do you mean a classic game redone with modern graphics? If so, then maybe original Donkey Kong. Although Donkey Kong Country (series) does a fine job of carrying on the Donkey Kong Legacy.
