Have you quit Cityville?
Have you quit playing Cityville? What caused you to quit? Slow gaming, the crashing browser, the constant reloading, or the continual prompting to buy things?

Re: Have you quit Cityville?
I'm considering quitting--what's frustrating beyond belief is the amount of things you need to get from other people! 10 of those, 8 of those, etc etc. You can't complete a build until you have those things.
Aggravation #2--you don't get enough City Cash to sustain, but you can conveniently BUY some. I want to play a game for enjoyment and relaxtion, not to spend hard-earned actual cash on game cash.
Agg #3--building a new plot gets to be expensive, and it's rather small.

First of all. I don't see why you should quit because of those features.
Simply do what is necessary to advance in the game. You don't have to spend any money, in order to beat your competitors.
For me CityVille is like showing off your car. Some people will want to have limited items, that's why they will be ready to spend their money on.
Here is what I learned you need to do in order to be the best (win at Zynga of the week contest).
- find reputable players
- play daily and communicate with them
- make a list of everyone who needs zoning permits and share it in group
- remove inactive players
I have created a group of about 50 players that are active and most of them are level 80 players.
Through my experience I've created a membership website, where anyone who wants to be the best can join for FREE!
That means you will get help from best players and you will level faster than with any guide.
You might ask yourself, why are we doing this? It's quite simple, we love to help. Here is something that I want to give back to the community!

I found an App for iPhone3 that responds to all your requests and those of your neighbors while you are away from your computer...never miss an invite or chance to pickup coins, goods, or energy!
