Can you drive tanks in cod?

Can you drive tanks in cod? can you fly jets or helicoptors?

The only Call of Duty game that allowed that was Treyarch's World at War and it had some multiplayer maps and one campaign mission with tanks involved. If you are trying to say that Battlefield 3 wins on that end then yes you would be right on that case.

CoD2 had a shooting gallery type tank mission as well. But as far as driving them in multiplayer you won't ever see this in a CoD game.

World At War is the only Call Of Duty to allow you to drive tank in multiplayer. Throughout different single players of other Call Of Duty's, you could drive tanks and other vehicles, but not in they're multiplayer. In MW2 and Black Ops, you can go in Chopper Gunners online, where you control the helicopters machine gun, but that's about it. In my opinion, tank vehicles online ruin the multiplayer experience.

I believe there are a few missions where you shoot from a tank but as far as controlling them, I don't think you can do that. Then again I could be wrong.

In call of duty 3, you can use the Sherman tank when you play the polish missions. There's not much other instances in a COD game that you can use tanks but you will definitely see or come across a sherman tank in most COD games.
