Modern Warfare 2 xbox 360 vs PS3 - which would you purchase for and why?

Single player, PS3 would be better because the graphics process and CPU is faster so the graphics will be slightly better.

However, XBox Live has a LOT more gamers online than PSN (especially now that PSN is down for 2 weeks) and the online experience is infinity better with friends. If playing online, get it for the 360.

Go with the 360 version because if you are playing it online, you'll have a much better experience. A game like that is 90% online and 10% campaign.

PS3 for sure because I don't have to pay to go online. Although it just recently got hacked by some japanese guy, I think I'd still get it for PS3.

For me it will be PS3, I also heard they will be releasing modern warfare 3 in november this year.

Host migration fails on ps3, playing with friends sucks because you can't talk to them, but yeah, single player is amazing.

Well I would buy it for the Xbox 360 only because I have the 360. I had played COD on both game systems and I think the PS3 is not as good as the 360. I believe that the 360 has better graphics than the PS3 however, the downside to the Xbox is that I have to play to play online. When playing online on the PS3 it doesn't cost a thing which is really nice because that Xbox live card is a killer.
