What is your highest black ops kill streak?

It was 26 in Nuketown. Got my chopper gunner up and started mowing the enemy down. No one bother to take it down.

I think I'm only up to 7 kills or something like that. I don't play that often.

Doesn't killstreak only count the gun kills though?
My kill streak is only 14 because I've barely played Black Ops. If you asked me what it was for CoD 4 or MW2, then it would be a different story.

Yes only gun kills count as killstreak kills. My highest is 18 on jungle using the Galil. However in MW2 it is 41. I got about 25 kills just with my chopper gunner.

Well I just broke my own record, I got a 23 killstreak today on Nuketown.
It was a Team Deathmatch and I was just spawn trapping the other team constantly. The trick is to just stay on the ground floor of the houses and continuously peek out the doorways. When you are behind the wall the other team will spawn in the backyard, giving you easy kills.

36 on firing range, chopper gunner and dogs doesnt get much better

13, without killstreak bonuses.

Is that killstreak counting your chopper and dog kills?
If so, what was the streak without them?

i have Hard line for perk 1, so basically my team have constant UAV and its helping my team out a lot.
