Thread: What I don't like about COD Black Ops (What Sucks)

Long time Socom, COD, MOH player here.
Great game, great single player, but here are the things I don't like about this game:

• Guns suck, but that may be due to the era this game takes place in. Especially, coming from MW2 guns.
• Gun sounds are aweful, someone here said they sound like popcorn. I agree.
• Maps are too small for me. Not enough oportunities for long distance sniping and camping silenced like I like to play. Probably gonna get flames for that, but oh well, my $60, I play how I want to play.
• Attack helicopters hang out for way too long and Ghost Perk does not help. Is there anything to do about these?

I agree with the first two points completely. Especially compared to MW2, the guns take way too long to kill. People always complained about guns being overpowered in MW2, but the fact is that the guns kill much quicker in real life. As for the maps being too small, I think they're a decent size for my play style, not too big and not too small. And the reason why Ghost is such a problem is because in the past if you had the perk on, it would replace stopping power. This balanced out your stealth because it would take longer for you to kill people. With the current system, there's really no reason not to wear Ghost.

I disagree with all your points, BUT i personally hate people who flame players for "camping" If thats how you choose to play the game then thats up 2 you, most players who flame camping are just crying about getting owned by you

I like the size of the maps. Especially Nuketown, which I've mentioned before. The gameplay is fast and it's more fun than big maps. But if the long distance sniping is your preference, I can obviously see how you wouldn't like that. I have a feeling that now I'm going to notice the "popcorn" sounds now that you've mentioned it.

Meh, not really.
Camping is okay, it's a playstyle and I get that. Some people like to run around and some like to sit up in buildings with a claymore at the doorway. What really bugs people (including me) is when players sit in random corners, not over looking choke points, and they just hide with Ghost. THAT'S camping.
