Dragon ball Z’s newest sequel, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkachi 2, was created in 2005 for PlayStation as well as Nintendo Wii.
This new game was released with a number of added features to make it much better than the older versions. The game was launched with 16 fighting arenas and 129 characters to choose from. Plus, the characters were the actual anime characters namely Goku, Gohan, Piccolo and many more. With such a vast variety to choose from, the game immediately became a huge success worldwide.
The fact that the game is compatible with Nintendo Wii, makes it even more interesting. The player actually has to mimic the famously known actions of the character he/she has chosen, in order to play. This gives the players a real fight feeling, as portrayed in the anime. The plus points are not yet over though. While playing, in a player-against-player environment, you can load any of the anime characters via the Wii console and take advantage of their powers. The newest release comes with an additional advantage; players can actually fuse two characters (and hence their powers) together, or simply transform from one character to another. This facility greatly depends on the type of game you have loaded, for instance, whether you are playing dragon adventure, tag battles or some other scenario.
The newest release gives you an actual feel of the anime characters you’ll be playing. Being a single player game, Dragon Adventure takes you through the realm of Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball GT both. As the game continues, you can unlock many new characters to play with and hence the choices keep on increasing endlessly. Furthermore, depending on the number of victories, the game course is varied. Although the game has some confusing factors and the widescreen option is not made available, the new version of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkachi 2 is a great game to play. It will revive the story and the affiliation you once had with the anime, especially for the fans of the original anime.
