The ability to read minds is still in place, much experience, but also provides information necessary for further missions. On the other hand the duration of the game is shorter, though not quite get to effectively cover the debt and experience points to level up. Obviously, nothing has changed in any difficulty level, even requesting the Easy and Hard downright Draconian. Again, separate and frequent backups are crucial, even if there are many opportunities to forget about them once caught the game.
DKS direct comparison would be The Witcher: Enhanced Edition, released about a similar package for the same reason: solving technical problems, improvements, news. However, DKS are not huge differences to lure a player that already has Ego Draconis to buy the new package. It is true that the graphics look better, but ultimately not just looking for visual fuss, but depth of gameplay, missions and loot attractive quality. So, assuming that the DKS is 100%, then about 25% is new, including here and Flames of Vengeance. Technical problems still exist, even one over which I gave the initial contact with the Ego Draconis. The irony is that when I was a weaker graphics card and the game run much better.
On the other hand, the Flames of Vengeance framerate varies, but not necessarily the best way, from 40 frames and over until the moment the game 2-3 in fixed behaves as if I have 128MB RAM and a Pentium I. A restart of the game solves the problem for another 4-5 hours, then repeat the situation and can say hand on heart that I also had problems with ED.
Moreover, I woke up with a great game out of the blue screen and the interaction (especially with objects) requires precision fighter pilot. Everywhere, even on foot in the middle of town, are spread bread, sausage, apples and various other foods, there are keys that unlock certain doors or chests, but you simply have to place yourself in a certain point and the camera in a certain position so you can collect or use.
Neither the animation was not as visible: the protagonist moves and runs the same, the NPCs have the same limited range of movements and facial models do not capture the level of expression or detail. On the other hand, differences are seen in the number of polygons in the environment, the vegetation, or interior walls.
Also, lighting and special effects have improved, offering a unique atmosphere in parts of the add-on, especially in homes or in Red Square near the Crow's Nest. Of course, besides sometimes annoying framerate changes, improvements and processors also stress the weaker players in this class so that they could not even enjoy the view as they will be forced to drop out of details, not to fight "the replay" .
As a positive side, voices, dialogue and soundtrack are still excellent, and the hero is more acidic than the available replicas Ego Draconis, especially when it comes to the possibility of refusing a secondary mission.
Judged by one, the Flames of Vengeance is not quite so tempting, despite a decent price for an expansion. In contrast, Dragon Knight saga is a good offer, especially for those who have not heeded the original, because we have an Ego Draconis improved and "fattening" missions, loot and handsome graphics, plus an expansion pack that brings some left end of the story crystallized fishtail.
