How do you fly planes and copters in Battlefield play4free?

I have the skills trained, but whenever I try to fly a plane or copter I crash. There is no single player area where I can just practice that I know of.

Can someone who plays give me some tips on how to fly these things? Are there some instructions somewhere?

Turn on Vertical Fly. That should help you. This is what happened to me in Bad Company 2. All you have to do is go into settings and there should be a vertical fly option. Check and save your settings. Atleast that's how I think it is. I have never played BF P4F

I don't know how but i think it sounds like something i would like to do. Maybe someone can find a game play video that explains the process.

i never saw plane in a browser based battlefield. i tried to fly in BF vietnam and it was awesome

I usually switch to keyboard controls when I fly (arrow keys + asdw) and can land choppers pretty easy. If I use the mouse I have a 100% rate of crashing into a tree/building/hill. Haven't successfully landed a plane and survived though. :P

Oh whoops, should mention this was in BF 1942 (+ expansions), BF Vietnam, BF2, and BF2142. I imagine it would be the same or similar? Also iebo, is that Tasselhoff in your avatar? o.o
