Thread: Something is weird

Cloudflare can be a real PITA in all honesty. I've heard nothing but bad things about using it and everyone I've talked to about CF advises against using it. I can see why. It tends to block legit traffic and do more harm then good. Using a good spam blocker on registration/login/posting and being up to date and making sure your server itself is fully up-to-date and secure is enough to protect against most threats anyways. :-)

In the end, that was the deciding factor of why CloudFlare was removed. The idea is great but I think they need to work on it a bit more before people use it for large production sites. It blocked well over 3,000 visitors per day from this site and did all kinds of screwy things with the javascript (even when features were turned off).

That kinda a bad software... blocking over 3k of legitimate traffic... Who created this software by the way?

Nope, I don't see them.
And I can't edit my posts even tho I'm a moderator. That's weird.

I don't have a signature link though i did before. I think i took it down voluntarily though. I might put up a signature link relevant to gaming/videos.

I see that you shaidar and dardaigh have generic sigs, but for example gekidan has his normally like he always did.
