The 57th Parallel: Assassin's Creed Revelations
Well I have just made my first group called "The 57th Humans" which was made for you the fans. Join in here and join gaming's next revolution.
When I first played Assassin’s Creed, I was disappointed to the repetitiveness of the story and then I saw Assassin’s Creed II. That changed my entire mind about the series. It was new and fresh, a good story and a challenging pace. Brotherhood game by and I lost that respect because it felt like Assassin’s Creed 2.5. Is Revelations the defining game to fix that? Nope! It’s 2.75 and finally the ending story arc for Ezio Auditore Da Firenze. I fear that they will think of some way to milk him for one more game even though we should be paying more attention to...what was his name again? It started with a “D.” Wasn’t it David?
Ok that bad joke aside, after finishing off on the cliffhanger left in Brotherhood when Desmond killed Lucy and slipped into a coma, the other two thought it was an amazing idea to throw him into the animus again because that solves everything! Desmond is put into the black room to find himself introduced by the infamous and mysterious Subject Sixteen put himself inside of the animus as an AI with his body worm food. Sixteen tells Desmond that the only way to get out of the coma is to finish Ezio’s final assassin memories. Plot Device!
So now Ezio at the ripe age of fifty and can still climb buildings like a parkour runner on angel dust, we find him in Constantinople in the early 1500’s to look for keys to get to Altair’s library and then this person and then a lady friend, love, and many other things that somewhat leaves the key missions to one mission per key. Revelations is less of a story and more of a filled up game of pointless missions. Added that the new stuff added takes away the challenge that the second game had and this game now has bombs to make any persons day terrible.
Well the multiplayer has left me with a bit of neutralness to it itself. The multiplayer is the exact same as the last game but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Was I expecting more out of it? Yes. Do I not mind what it still is? No. Really it’s hard to say what there is to say about the multiplayer. You kill people and they try to kill you. It is fun because it’s like a game of hide and seek and the winner is the one who can make themselves look more like an NPC.
I do think that were it for the ending cliffhanger and deep finish to Ezio’s story, I would never buy another Assassin’s Creed title. Damn it Ubisoft you are reeling me in every time. I think if it wasn’t for each and every cliffhanger they leave at the end of each game, I would’ve stopped playing after the first game. It’s like the situation of a friend who cracks a joke that’s funny and then does terrible witty banter to try to continue his act but isn’t as good as the original joke but then he says another so you are left with the choice of do you leave him there and wait for the next joke or go talk to someone else? Well I will make my choice after I recover from the concussion after hitting my head over my keyboard multiple times because of the witty banter.

Re: The 57th Parallel: Assassin's Creed Revelations
I did not mind the second Assassins Creed that much. I thought it was better than the first one.
My brother in law loves both. And the multiplayer is what makes it he has.
And once again thanks for the great review. I always look forward to these great funny comical reviews.
