Assassin’s creed, a landmark game created by the world’s 4th largest video game manufacturer, Ubisoft is back again. Ubisoft attempts to re-create the unique gaming experience that users experienced in Assassin’s Creed with the sequel Assassin’s creed II and has succeeded in catching the attention of several gamers.

Assassin’s Creed was a unique game, providing a different gaming experience altogether. The third person action adventure game was released in late 2007/early 2008 in various systems such as the PC, Xbox and the PlayStation consoles. The game had a very different story arc, very unique. It is set in 2012, where the protagonist Desmond Miles, a bartender by profession, is kidnapped by a fictional company called Abstergo Industries. The company subjects Miles to undergo genetic memory extraction through their pioneering innovation called the Animus. The Device looks to tap the memory of the person, by sampling the DNA against a genetic memory detector, allowing the user to play as Desmond’s ancestor, Altair in virtual reality(within the game). The game switches back and forth between the central characters. You play as Desmond when leaves the device and when he is finally rescued from death. You play as Altair, set in the epoch of 1191, the period of unrest between the Saracens and the knight’s templar.

If you have a thing for racing, then the Dirt series is surely what you should go for. Dirt is the sixth racing game in the Collin McRae rally series, which makes Dirt 2, the seventh. This is the first game to be made since the demise of McRae in 2007.

Dirt 2, from Codemasters, includes new racing events and also stadium events, which may be played online, as well as with AI bots offline. It boasts five racing disciplines along with three Special disciplines. All this is contained by the updated version of the EGO engine, which powered Race Driver: Grid. The ability to rewind a badly performed maneuver, the Flashback has been retained into the latter, with improvements done to the former. Not only this, but the engine has also been modified to give a realistic feel to the weight transfer ability across the corners, allowing drivers to employ advanced driving techniques.

It is not very often that a game takes on a story wrapped around a poem… especially a poem depicting Hell. If you want to play a game with some seriously disturbing images and shock value, then get ready to play Dante’s Inferno. It is based off of the famous 14th century poem, The Divine Comedy.

The story is about a young Crusader named Dante who tires of war and wishes to return to his Fiancé. Upon arrival to her home, he is horrified to find her dead and Lucifer trying to take her soul down into Hell. Dante soon gives chase and slowly makes his way down each horrifying level of Hell itself to find his lover.

During his journey, Dante will have to face his own sins he made throughout life including: lies, betrayal, war crimes, and a dark family past. He will go through all nine circles of Hell spoken of in the Divine Comedy: limbo, lust, gluttony, greed, anger, heresy, violence, fraud, and treachery.
